"On demand wine, beer, and more delivered straight to your door in 60 minutes or less."
That's the motto of Drinkos, an alcohol-delivery service that will begin serving the Dayton area beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday, according to a company spokeswoman.
The Cincinnati-based company will deliver beer, wine and low-powered spirits (42 proof or less), as well as cigars, ice, soda, and snacks, from a licensed facility in north Dayton, Drinkos spokeswoman Rachel Ennis said. The delivery area is within about 20 miles of that facility, and orders should arrive in approximately one hour or less, Ennis said.
The company said in a release that customers must provide a birth date before ordering and a valid ID, which is scanned, upon delivery.
