AleFest Dayton to move downtown

AleFest Dayton (not to be confused with this weekend's AleFeast) is moving.

This summer, downtown Dayton's Dave Hall Plaza will be the place for the 17th annual AleFest Dayton, which celebrates all things craft beer.

You'll be able to taste hundreds of specialty brews from all over at the longest-running craft beer fest in Ohio.

According to event co-owner Amanda Pond, there will also be some very limited rare and specialty beers at the event.

"We are so ecstatic about bringing this Dayton Original event to the heart of downtown," said Jennifer Dean, co-owner of AleFest. "This is a great opportunity to attract tourism to our city and showcase all that Dayton has to offer!"

Get your tickets early: AleFest tickets will be available at 2014 ticket prices before they go up on March 1, 2015. Buy online at alefest.com.
