Another Dayton doughnut shop joins the ranks of the NEWLY REOPENED

Stan the Donut Man on Wilmington Ave. now serving five days a week with slightly scaled-back hours

The Stan the Donut Man doughnut shop at 1441 Wilmington Ave. in south Dayton that shut down a month ago following a statewide stay-at-home order has reopened for limited hours, joining at least three other Dayton-area bakeries that have done the same thing.

The Dayton Stan the Donut Man reopened Thursday, and going forward, it will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., an employee of the shop said this morning. April 24.

Shops that sell food for carryout, including doughnut shops, are exempted from a statewide shutdown of dine-in restaurant services, and the stay-at-home  order allows Ohio residents to venture out to food stores and carryout restaurants and shops.

Other doughnut shops/bakeries that have reopened recently with limited hours after suspending operations in recent weeks include Bear Creek Donuts in Miamisburg, The Donut Haus Bakery in Springboro, and Ashley’s Pastry Shop in Oakwood.
