Arrow Wine renovates to boost craft beer selection

Arrow Wine & Spirits' store at 2950 Far Hills Ave. is undergoing a makeover that will boost its selection of craft beers.

Mif Frank, co-owner and manager of the Kettering Arrow store, said the renovation is a direct result of the “crazy-high demand” for craft beer. The project will boost the number of offerings from about 2,000 to about 2,500, Frank said. A concurrent surge in interest in craft cocktails will prompt the store to stock more mixers and other specialty cocktail ingredients, Frank said.

Arrow will essentially flip-flop departments inside the Kettering store, moving the existing deli/food department to the north end of the store where craft beers now reside. Arrow will reduce the amount of floor space devoted to foods, and will cut back or eliminate offering of spreads and other specialty-food items, some of which had been sold from a deli case.
