There haven been 39,575 total cases of coronavirus and 2,457 deaths attributed to the virus, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

The state is reporting 36,710 confirmed cases and 2,231 deaths.

There have been 6,693 hospitalizations and 1,74 ICU admissions throughout the pandemic.

On Tuesday, Gov. Mike DeWine expressed concerns about the arnot number in the Dayton region, which measures how many people a person with coronavirus is infecting on average.

He said the number is showing a slight increase, which could hint  at an increase in cases.

Ohio’s arnot number has been staying below one, which means on average, a person with the virus is spreading it to less than one person.

Today, zoos, aquariums, museums, art galleries, outdoor playgrounds, indoor movie theaters and more were able to reopen.

Amusement parks, water parks, casinos and racinos can open June 19.
