14 ducklings trapped in storm drain rescued, reunited with mother

UPDATE @ 10:45 a.m.: 

At least 14 ducklings who were trapped in a parking lot storm drain, have been freed and reunited with their mother.

Sugarcreek Twp. police and township workers were called to the Kroger at 6480 Wilmington Pike around 8:30 a.m. after the ducklings were found.

Township workers removed the top of the storm drain and pulled the ducklings out, before reuniting them with their mother.

Crews are working to free several ducklings who became trapped in a storm drain in a Kroger parking lot in Sugarcreek Twp. Thursday morning.

Police responded to the grocery store at 6480 Wilmington Pike around 8:30 a.m. after receiving a call about the trapped ducklings. There were at least 13 ducks.
