The BBB cited Livingston’s business model of learning, development and growth as qualifiers for receiving the award.

“In my business, I make a sweet product, but in reality, I truly make peoples' days better. I have so much power in my hands. In just one small transaction, I can turn someone's day around,” said Justin Livingston, lead baker and owner.

“Winning the BBB Spark Award extends far beyond myself. It highlights the amazing support my community has shown me since opening last year. So many young people lack the drive to want to achieve greatness for others. At a young age, I always wanted whatever I do to be successful and mean something. This award is an incredible honor. Not everyone has the opportunity to be a young entrepreneur and receive an award of this nature. I am the business and the business is me. This award means so much on so many levels of my life.”

Livingston also serves on The Downtown Tipp City Partnership Board and raises funds for Tipp City nonprofits when possible, making Scratch an asset to the community beyond the delicious baked goods.

The Eclipse Integrity Awards reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. The dinner and awards presentation will start at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $99 per person or you can sponsor a table of eight for $999. Call (937) 610-2277 for reservations.
