Local businessman Clay Mathile, one of six Ohioans on the 2017 list, saw his fortune rise to $3.8 billion, which places him at the No. 474 spot on Forbes' list of 2017 billionaires.

According to a Forbes profile of Mathile, "his video-service company, ooVoo, which has more than 150 million users, competes with Skype and Google Hangouts."

Mathile sold The Iams Company to Procter & Gamble for $2.3 billion in 1999.
