The Columbus-based restaurant chain and brewery have created a special beer, dubbed "DewBrew," which is available on tap at all Dewey's locations in Columbus and Dayton and at North High Brewing Co. in Columbus for a limited time. Through Dec. 31, Dewey's and North High will donate $1 from every glass of that particular beer sold to the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Dayton Children's Hospital.

The center serves Cystic Fibrosis patients in Columbus and Dayton and will be using funds raised from the DewBrew to provide a therapy vest for a child patient battling the lung disease.

A Dewey’s release describes the DewBrew as a “Hazy IPA that has Meyer Lemon and pine-resin flavors with strawberry and mint aromas for a bright, effervescent finish.”

Since 2015, Dewey’s has raised more than $20,000 for charitable organizations in Cincinnati, Dayton and St. Louis through DewBrew fund-raising campaigns. The partnership with North High marks the first time Dewey’s Columbus market has created a DewBrew.

New collaborations are coming in the spring, Dewey’s officials said.
