Food trucks, live music part of Austin Landing’s First Friday

About a dozen restaurant vendors, live music and skydiving are planned for Austin Landing’s Food Truck Frenzy as part of its First Friday series.

This weekend’s event is set to include 11 food trucks, Spungewurthy and the Journey tribute band Any Way You Want it, as well American flag and pyrotechnic skydives, games, and raffles.

Food trucks include: Mike’s Nashville Hot Chicken, Cold Stone Creamery, El Meson Food Trucks, Greek Street Food Truck, Carvaso’s, Cupzilla-Korean BBQ, Sofrito’s Cuban-American, Hickory River Smokehouse, 1776 Grill, Pit To Plate BBQ and Quite Frankly Food Truck.

Tickets are $5 and the event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Park at Austin Landing on Innovation Drive. Proceeds benefit the Blue Skies for the Good Guys and Gals Warrior Foundation.
