UPDATE @ 2:14 p.m.

Work to renovate a building on East First Street that is destined to be an indoor bike park stopped this afternoon because of an odor coming from sewage, according to a Dayton fire official.

Two workers reported the smell and one became nauseous before exiting the building, according to the official.

Dayton firefighters opened windows and ventilated the building. The source of the odor was determined to be sewer gas.
