Goodwill confirmed for Oakwood’s Far Hills, parking lot being built

The Far Hills business district will welcome a Goodwill Easter Seals store this fall, according to property owner Kevin Manley.

He owns the building at 2322 Far Hills Avenue and confirmed Goodwill has signed a lease agreement to occupy the space.

“It’s going to be gorgeous,” Manley said. “I can’t wait to get it done.”

Manley said the store would operate as a “boutique” and will not change the way Goodwill is priced. Construction crews have begun paving for a new parking lot in the adjacent lot off Triangle Avenue.

In February, Goodwill representatives confirmed preliminary discussions about occupying the building.

Requests seeking comment from Goodwill Easter Seals were not immediately returned.

Complete Petmart occupied the building until 2011, when Petco bought the Petmart chain. Petco left last November.
