Got old tax returns? Bank records? Here’s when you can shred them for free

Huber Heights residents can participate in a free paper shredding event on July 14.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Thomas Cloud Park and the Rose Music Center.

Only paper will be accepted for shredding. Documents residents may consider shredding include old bank records, tax returns and other documents that could catch the attention of identity thieves.

Assistance will be provided for unloading items.

Huber Heights city government and the Huber Heights Chamber of Commerce will host the event. Shred-it will provide the document destruction services.
