Here’s what Chrissy Teigen said about her $1K tip to Centerville waitress

Model and TV star Chrissy Teigen had more than few words for the waitress who served her a Bloomin' Onion recently at the Centerville Outback.

And guess what? They all glowed.

As we first reported, Teigen, the wife of Springfield-born crooner John Legend, dropped a $1,000 tip on Mikayla Scott, a 21-year-old waitress at the Australian-themed restaurant located at 101 E. Alex Bell Road in Cross Pointe Shopping Center.

It was a 516 percent tip on the $193.81 bill, and the largest Scott had ever received.

The story of Teigen’s gesture and Scott’s response went viral.

TMZ cameraman asked Teigen about it and Scott when he caught up with her in  Monday in Los Angeles International Airport.

The cameraman asked if Scott “was particularly good” at her job.

"She was and her husband worked there as well. It was cool," Teigen said referring to Scott's husband Jordan, an Outback cook. "She was wonderful."

Teigen and her husband, a Tony, Oscar and Grammy winner, visit the region frequently.

They were in town with their daughter that week, and attended the Oct. 27 football game between Kettering Fairmont and Springfield high schools.

Teigen and about four of her friends arrived at Outback that night just before closing.

The “Lip Sync Battle” star and foodie ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and a list of appetizers that included a Steakhouse Quesadilla and Outback’s famed Bloomin’ Onion.

She’s on record as loving that particular app.

“I love Outback,” Teigen told the TMZ cameraman. “I love Bloomin’ Onion.”

As for if the $1,000 tip was a one time thing, Teigen responded: “The mood might strike again.”

How amazing would it be to be able to leave a waitress a 512 percent tip? Chrissy Teigen made a Centerville waitress' night.
