Bourbon Chicken Restaurant is the second Miami Valley eatery for owner of Mr. Bourbon Restaurant
The owner of Mr. Bourbon Restaurant in Trotwood is poised to open his second Dayton-area eatery on Thursday, May 21 about seven miles away, with a different menu and other key differences from his first venture.
Bourbon Chicken Restaurant is located at 100 N. James H. McGee Blvd. in Dayton, and its menu will differ from the Trotwood restaurant that opened last fall at 5212 Salem Ave. in Trotwood, focusing more on burgers, chicken wings and potatoes prepared several ways, according to the owner of both restaurants, Ali Arkan of Beavercreek.
Mark Fisher, a 1981 graduate of Ohio State University and a 1976 graduate of Beavercreek High School, is a third-generation Dayton-area resident who has worked for the Dayton Daily News since 1983. He covered higher education and K-12 education accountability issues for nearly 20 years before taking over the food and dining beat in 2006.
