The bottles of “Maker’s Mark Ohio Private Select,” will be sold starting at 9 a.m. this Friday, Aug. 24, the Arrow store’s regular opening time, a store manager said on Aug. 21. The number of bottles available during this release will be even more limited — perhaps by as much as half — than a similar offering in June of an Ohio-exclusive Russell's Reserve Barrel Program product from the Wild Turkey Distillery, which was also sold at Arrow. That Friday morning, more than two dozen people were already in line 45 minutes before the store’s 9 a.m. opening time, and the store’s allocation of the special bottles sold out in 90 minutes.
