PHOTOS: Meet Hero Strong, Dayton's very own superhero team

Fear not, citizens of Dayton!

Caped heroes roam your streets, helping children, promoting events and bringing awareness to the fight against cancer, muscular dystrophy, bullying and more.

The group Hero Strong was launched in 2015, and appears at events all over the Miami Valley area.

Hero Strong is a volunteer organization that strives to inspire children through superheroes, lending their capes to the fight against childhood cancer, muscular dystrophy, bullying, child abuse, and other causes.

The current team consists of founder, Ryan Kelbel (Batman), Aimee Kelbel (Batgirl), Jen Parkhurst (Wonder Woman), Adam Rohr (Deadpool/Deathstroke/Scarlet Spider) and Robert Holthaus (Spider-Man).

The group has plans for future unveilings of Green Arrow, Supergirl, Captain America, Wolverine, and Black Widow.
