The new business is expected to open sometime this month. It’s owned by John Kallenberger and Michael McCarthy, both of Cincinnati, who opened Roll On In locations in Lebanon and Cincinnati’s Clifton neighborhood (2016), Deerfield Twp.’s Landen neighborhood (2017) and Hamilton’s West Side (2018).

When Roll On In first opened in Hamilton in May 2018, Kallenberger and McCarthy said Rise-N-Shine would be a mix of healthy and classic farm-hearty breakfast fare.
A menu has yet to be finalized, but the restaurant’s social media accounts tout that it will offer “your favorite traditional breakfast dishes with a unique twist using as many locally sourced ingredients as possible.”
Rise-N-Shine's Facebook page has posted photos of French toast, an omelette, a breakfast platter with bacon, eggs, potatoes and sausage and more.
