'Scandal' and 'Sense8' actors in Dayton and Springfield today, tomorrow

Actors from two of the most addictive TV dramas will be in Dayton and Springfield this weekend.

Katie Lowes, who plays Quinn Perkins on ABC's political drama "Scandal," will be in town at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Nov. 5 for a canvassing event for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at 8158 Beechcreek Dr., Dayton.

Lowes has also had roles in the films "Big Hero 6" (2014) and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen."

She will be joined in Dayton by her husband, actor Adam Shapiro, who played Dr. Metzger on Netflix's sci-fi drama"Sense8" and Avie Tevanian in the movie "Steve Jobs."

Married since 2012, the couple will be in Springfield at 5:15 p.m. today, Nov. 4 for an early voting event at 42 W. High St.

They are also making stops in Cincinnati, Gambier and Granville.

Lowes and Shapiro are just the latest celebrities to visit Dayton.
