The first launch window opened at 7:36 p.m. Sunday at launch pad 39-A at Kennedy Space Center, with the launch countdown getting to the final 10 seconds before an automated abort.

Monday's launch was similarly scrubbed at the last second.

The next launch window opened Monday around 7:37 p.m. but the launch was pushed back to 8:35 p.m. due to weather, before ultimately being scrubbed.

Crews test-fired the rocket engine Thursday.

The rocket will transport the Intelsat 35e communications satellite, part of the company’s “Epic” system that provides communications services around the globe, according to SpaceX.

The launch was originally scheduled for April.
