Take a fun tour of Dayton by golf cart

Looking for a new way to get out and about in Dayton?

A Bellbrook family has started a new business touring Dayton historic sites and neighborhoods by golf cart.

The idea for the business, called Touring Carts, grew from a desire to share Dayton’s rich history and promote the numerous downtown renewal projects.

Here are 3 things to know about the golf cart tours:

1. You have a choice. Two tours will be offered. Highlights on the “Downtowner” include the Dayton Arcade, RiverScape, the Schuster Center and the 2nd Street Public Market. Hop on board for the “University Circle” tour and Carillon Historical Park, Woodland Cemetery and the University of Dayton will be among the sites.

3. Better reserve your seat. Tours will cost $25 per person and will be held each Saturday beginning in June. Reservations can be made online.
