What’s new with our local legend John Legend?

GRAMMY APPEARANCE

The 10-time Grammy winner will perform during the 2017 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 12.

Legend (aka John Stephens) and many other artists including Metallica, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban would be taking stage entertaining the crowd at the 59th annual installment of the event.

Here are a few other things Legend has been up to lately both professionally and with that perfect family of his:

DISNEY DUET

Legend has teamed up with Ariana Grande to put a new spin on the famous song "Beauty and the Beast" for the live action version of the film coming soon to theaters. The song was made famous by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson for the animated Disney classic.

SUPER BOWL COMMERCIAL

This spot for LIFEWTR that debuted during the Super Bowl features the music of John Legend.

LA LA LAND

Legend was an executive producer and cast member for this film that is gaining lots of attention this award season.

The Stephens (John and supermodel wife Chrissy Teigen) celebrate 9 months with their baby Luna Simone Stephens.

NEW ALBUM

Pandora helped John celebrate the release of his fifth album “Darkness and Light.” His current hit song “Penthouse Floor” features new artist Chance the Rapper.
