Have a drink with your pooch and for all pooches as Lily's Bistro hosts Pooches & Punches in benefit of SICSA on Wednesday, June 8.
“We love all of the great work that SICSA does for the animals in our community so any chance to partner with them is welcomed,” said Emily Mendenhall, Lily's Bistro owner. “Having the sidewalk patio open for dogs all the time is a perfect setting for summer events like this.”
Bar Manager, Amber Brady will have a special punch made up at $5 a glass or $20 for a 5-serving carafes. Executive Chef Mariah Gahagan will prepare complimentary gourmet dog treats.
“It’s a night meant for everyone, your pup included,” Mendenhall said. “It’ll be for a different kind of positive yelps we’re hoping for on Wednesday.”
SICSA's (Society for the Improvement of Conditions for Stray Animals) mission is to promote the welfare and adoption of companion animals, nurture loving, lifelong relationships between animals and people.
No tickets are required but reservations are encouraged. A portion of all sales from the evening will be donated to SICSA.
