He said he looked out the window of his second-story room and saw a man standing outside a white van violently swinging his arm into the open sliding door.

The witness told police the screaming seemed to be coming from inside the van.

According to the report, the man who was outside the van got into it through the sliding side door and the van slowly pulled out of the parking lot.

When Tampa police got there, the van was gone. They found blood spatters in the space where it was parked.

Detectives began investigating the case as a possible abduction.
