McDonald’s and UberEATS have teamed up to offer — yes, you guessed it — “McDelivery” from eight Dayton-area restaurants, a spokeswoman for local McDonald’s franchise owners announced today, Nov. 15.
Customers can place McDonald’s orders on the UberEATS mobile app or on UberEATS.com, using the same account they use to take Uber rides and can track their order as an UberEATS delivery partner brings their meal directly to them, according to a release. An UberEATS booking fee applies to each order. New UberEATS customers can get $5 off their first McDonald’s delivery order by using the coupon code EATSMCDS.
Here’s a list of participating McDonald’s restaurants in Dayton:
- 2450 Needmore Road
- 3411 York Commons Boulevard
- 160 Woodman Drive
- 410 S. Main Street
- 1070 S. Smithville Road
- 4770 N. Main Street
- 3918 Free Pike
- 4501 Linden Avenue
“Delivery is one of the top requests by our customers, and we’re proud of the partnership with UberEATS to make it happen for them here in our area,” Al Herzog, a McDonald’s owner/operator in the Dayton area, said in a release.
Dayton is the fifth Ohio market to roll out McDelivery, following Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Akron. McDelivery expanded into 3,500 U.S. restaurants earlier this year.
