Sandra Lynn Henson, 52, of Rienzi, Mississippi, surrendered to Florence police late Thursday and was charged with one felony count of theft and a misdemeanor count of theft, WHNT reported. Henson posted a $2,500 bond and was released from the Lauderdale County Detention, AL.com reported.

Henson also faces a warrant from nearby Limestone County, where a couple said she crashed their wedding in March, the website reported.

Henson is accused of showing up at weddings where she was not invited and stealing gifts, according to Florence police.

Police in Florence released a photograph after Henson was allegedly seen at the wedding of Lee Todd and Anna Perez Todd last month.

"Nowhere in my mind did I think somebody stole things," First Christian Church administrative assistant Tammy Hendrix told WHNT. "What she did was just so unnerving."

Hendrix looked through surveillance video and was able to identify a woman who turned out to be Henson, the television station reported.

"I don't think she had much choice but to cooperate. I think the video made her turn herself in," Anna Perez Todd told WHNT.

Newlyweds and guests at several weddings told police they saw Henson walking through their receptions. Soon after that, gift envelopes were reported missing and money from purses in the wedding party changing rooms were gone, WHNT reported.

"None of the checks or gift cards she took have been used," Florence police Detective Josh Hein told the television station.

"She happened upon some weddings? I don't believe that for a second," theft victim Jensen Nicholson told WHNT. "There's no way she can just happen upon some of them.

"She stole from us that day, but she didn't steal our joy or our happiness. She didn't ruin our day."
