A deer is being blamed for a crash that killed an Ohio man Sunday in western Pennsylvania.

The deer went airborne and into the windshield of a Saturn Vue driven by Michael Modjallal, 73, of Akron, Ohio, the television station reported. A passenger in the SUV, Lucia Modjallal, 70, of Akron, was hospitalized with injuries, WJW reported.
“The deer was propelled into the westbound lane and went through the windshield of the other vehicle,” police Cpl. Greg Bogan said.
