Florida vandal scatters pickles around school office, destroys musical instruments

A vandal who spread pickles in a Florida school's front office and destroyed several musical instruments has left a sour taste among educators.

According to a St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office incident report, the front office at Indian River Academy in Vero Beach was vandalized Friday. According to the report, the vandal took pickles out of a jar and threw them against computer screens at the front desk and placed them on two chairs in the office, TCPalm reported.

The intruder also smashed coffee creamers on the floor of the school's teachers' lounge, put creamers in a microwave oven and poured them on a copier machine, WPTV reported.

According to the report, the person went to the school's music room and smashes two ukuleles, TCPalm reported.

Water also was dumped on a row of computers in the school's computer room, the website reported.
