Calvin Bradley was robbed July 23 in Houston, KTRK reported. An assailant pointed a gun at Bradley and stole a $400 leaf blower, the television station reported.

"I was upset, real bad," Bradley told KTRK. "Just trying to make an honest living."

Houston firefighter Jake Lewis heard about Bradley's loss and decided to do something about it.

"I could totally relate," Lewis told KTRK. "I have a maintenance company and I just felt bad for him, that he had a gun in his face."

Lewis asked his father to bring him one of his leaf blowers and then delivered it to a surprised Bradley.

"Thank you. Thank you very much. God bless you," Bradley said. "I really appreciate him (Lewis)."
