A Kentucky woman accused of shooting her boyfriend during an argument about their thermostat was sentenced to a 15-year prison term Monday.

According to WNKY and WBKO, Candy Moss, 53, of Smiths Grove, pleaded guilty to first-degree assault in the November 2018 shooting of Steve Flynn, 64, at their College Street home.
Authorities said Moss, who was armed with a .38-caliber revolver, fired at Flynn multiple times as the pair argued about the thermostat settings, WNKY reported. He was injured but survived.
