Completely devestated by the fires affecting my community. I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong. I am grateful for

She also posted ways people can help those affected by the flames.
Singer Neil Young is also one of the famous victims, but he fired back at President Donald Trump's statement that blamed the fires that are plaguing the West Coast on "gross mismanagement of the forests," The Guardian reported.
Young said, via his website, that "California is vulnerable -- not because of poor forest management as DT (our so-called president) would have us think. We are vulnerable because of climate change; the extreme weather events and our extended drought is part of it."
Young said this is not the first time he has lost a home to a wildfire in California.
“California is a paradise for us all. A gift. We are sad to not be able to defend it against Mother Nature’s wrath. We love California. We are not ill-prepared. We are up against something bigger than we have ever seen. It’s too big for some to see at all. Firefighters have never seen anything like this in their lives. I have heard that said countless times in the past two days, and I have lost my home before to a California fire, now another.”
Actor-producer Gerard Butler was also one of the victims of the Woolsey Fire.
He tweeted over the weekend that his home was gone.
Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating. Heartbreaking time across California. Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit and sacrifice of firefighters. Thank you @LAFD. If you can, support these brave men and women at https://t.co/ei7c7F7cZx. pic.twitter.com/AcBcLtKmDU

Butler, Cyrus and Young are not alone. Scott Derrickson, who directed "Doctor Strange," lost his home and filmmaker Guillermo del Toro said that his home, which is filled with memorabilia, was in danger, but survived the fire.
Just a quick update to say that I’m overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of love and support. Thank you to everyone who messaged me, and for the dozens upon dozens of you who offered us a place to stay. We are blessed and grateful to be safe and so loved. 🙏🏻❤️ pic.twitter.com/5i4InDTs8S

A friend drove to my home while it was smoldering and took this mesmerizing pic. The interior is cooked but the sole fireman needs to ensure that other homes in my neighborhood don’t catch fire.

Thank God and this firefighter, they didn’t. pic.twitter.com/lXhTZQvYsq
Tomorrow we will dig through the rubble with gloves and puncture-proof boots.

But today, unbelievably, these are the only items we found perfectly intact: pic.twitter.com/Vcz6hYEbEd
Actress Shannen Doherty also said her home was in danger of burning, but has been spared, Deadline reported.
Her "Charmed" co-star Alyssa Milano said her home also was not destroyed and that her children and horses were safe. She tweeted, "My house is still standing. I'm on my way to bring firefighters water and food."
