Moose removed from Colorado ski resort

Colorado wildlife officials relocated three moose from Breckenridge Ski Resort after reports that the animals were threatening skiers.

Wildlife officials' decision to tranquilize and move the animals came after last week's viral video that showed a moose surprising several skiers and snowboarders as it galloped down a ski run Friday, the Denver Post reported.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials say it's unclear if that moose was one of the three removed Sunday because that incident occurred in a different part of the ski area.

According to the Denver Post, Breckenridge police received a call Sunday morning from a group of Nordic skiers who said they were being threatened by a moose that had charged them several times. Soon after wildlife officers arrived, two more moose had joined the original bull.
