You've heard of the dark side of the moon, this is the Halloween side of the sun.
NASA released an image Sunday, from Oct. 8 2014, of the sun with what appears to be the face of a jack-o'-lantern, CNN reported.
The image was taken by the Solar Dynamics Observatory satellite using ultraviolet light, NASA officials said on Facebook.
NASA is allowing visitors to download the image from its Facebook page.
