A Massachusetts police department reminded citizens not to drink and drive Tuesday with rewritten lyrics to the Christmas classic, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”
Freetown police shared a photo on Facebook of the department's festive sign on Chace Road. The image has since been shared hundreds of times.
“Happy Holiday and Stay Safe!” police wrote in a caption of the photo.
Freetown is a town about 45 miles south of Boston with a population of around 8,900 people, according to information from the 2010 U.S. Census.
