Three people were taken to the hospital Sunday following a shooting in Florida, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Around 11:45 p.m., police said they received a 911 call about a shooting at a Super Bowl party on Plymouth Street in Murray Hill.

The Sheriff's Office said a man was reportedly roughing up his girlfriend and people started to intervene when the shooting occurred.

When officers arrived, they found three people who had been shot. A woman was shot in the face and leg, a man in the stomach and another man in the groin.

One of the men that had been shot, fled the area in a car when police arrived, leading to a short pursuit down Plymouth Street to Lenox Avenue.

The driver of the car then hit two curbs before flipping the car twice.

Police did not say how serious the shooting victims injuries were.

The Sheriff’s Office is working to learn who the gunman is.

Police were not able to give an age range of the people shot but said they were younger.
