Police are looking for whoever was shooting when a stray bullet went into a house and hit an 18-year-old girl, killing her.
A police homicide commander said there were two people in the street firing shots on River Ridge Drive.
Three bullets pierced the home. One of them hit Jessica Daniels in the chest while she was sleeping in her bed, police said. She was home with her mother and grandmother.
Daniels recently graduated from South Atlanta High School. She was supposed to go to a job interview Thursday, her aunt said.
The family is pleading for the community to come together to find the people responsible.
