Nearly 1,700 Wright State students to graduate Saturday

Wright State University will award close to 1,700 degrees and certificates during a commencement ceremony Saturday.

During the ceremony, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Nutter Center, WSU will award 1,010 bachelor’s degrees, 602 master’s degrees, 54 doctorates of philosophy and a number of associate degrees and graduate certificates, according to the school.

Wright State’s fall graduating class includes students from 54 Ohio counties and 28 states. The class also includes 221 international students from 24 different nations with the largest portion — 107 — coming from India, according to WSU.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on WSU-TV on Time Warner Cable channel 21.105 in the university residence halls and Fairborn and regionally on AT&T channel 99. The ceremony can also be watched online through a streaming portal on Wright State's website.
