>> OTHER NEW BREWS: Georgia brewery’s beers enter Dayton market (January 2017)
The brewery will immediately offer year-round core brands, including Black Ale, Gold Ale, and 98 Problems IPA, along with seasonal brews such as its Grapefruit IPA, and specialty bottles such as “No Rules,” a Vietnamese Imperial Porter scheduled for release this fall.
No Rules is described as a 15 percent alcohol porter and is brewed with coconut, cinnamon and turbinado sugar, aged in bourbon barrels. The beer collected several online accolades since debuting in 2015, and Draft Magazine ranked No Rules their No. 1 beer for winter sipping, Perrin officials said.

“The cinnamon is an old trick from growing up as a beekeeper,” John Stewart, Director of Brewing Operations at Perrin, said in a release. “Mead makers use cinnamon to mask alcohol warmth, as it helped smooth out this brew. No Rules really shines as a dessert pairing. The turbinado sugar, a raw unfinished sugar, brings out notes of maple and molasses.”
