A locally based pizza chain will open its 22nd store in Xenia this Sunday, Jan. 28, with a bit of a twist.
The latest location for fast-growing, Kettering-basedRapid Fired Pizza is coming to 40 South Progress Drive in Xenia. The 2,400-square-foot store will seat over 72 people.
The chain recently launched delivery service at select locations, and at the new Xenia store, delivery will be available from day one. That’s “a first for the brand,” Rapid Fired co-founder Kelly Gray said in a release.
Rapid Fired Pizza has entered into agreements with developers that could lead to as many as 200 or more new locations in Kentucky, Indiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and California.
The chain utilizes a quick-service concept, featuring a serving line in which customers pick out the toppings for their 11-inch thin-crust or 9-inch pan pizza. Customers can choose from eight sauces, eight cheeses, more than 30 toppings, and 14 dipping sauces to build their pizza, or try one of the 10 craft pizzas on the menu. Salads, breadsticks, and desserts are also available, as are craft beer and wine at most locations.
The first Rapid Fired Pizza opened in September 2015 on Ohio 725 east of the Dayton Mall.
