A Tennessee man was arrested Thursday and charged with setting fire to his daughter's wheelchair while she was in it, WCYB reported.
Timothy Shane Medley, 41, was indicted by a Giles County grand jury for aggravated assault, abuse of an adult, felony reckless endangerment, reckless aggravated assault and burning personal property.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the fire in Pulaski on May 21 was started when Medley allegedly used an accelerant, WTVC reported.
Medley's daughter was taken to the Vanderbilt Burn Center in Nashville for treatment of her injuries, WCYB reported.
