A Texas man who intentionally hit the car of a woman he was dating after an argument was ejected from his pickup truck and died early Monday, KTRK reported.

Houston police said an argument between the couple led to the fatal incident, KHOU reported.

According to authorities, the couple got into an argument after leaving the Chulas Sports Bar in Houston around 1 a.m., KTRK reported.

They left in separate vehicles, and while they both entered the Gulf Freeway, the woman hit the man's white pickup with her red sedan, KHOU reported.

Police said the couple got out of their vehicles and began arguing, the television station reported. When they got back into their vehicles, police said the man lost control of his pickup when he sideswiped the woman's sedan. The pickup rolled over and the man was ejected. He died at the scene, KHOU reported.

The woman was not injured, KTRK reported.
