Minnesota residents weathering a snowstorm had it rough Thursday, but a Minnesota State Patrol trooper was blown away by it.

A trooper directing traffic around a jackknifed semi this morning on Highway 86 & Interstate 90 in Jackson County was knocked to the ground by a wind gust.

The trooper was directing traffic in Jackson County around a jackknifed tractor-trailer when he was caught by the wind and blown across the highway, the television station reported.
The trooper was sent sprawling to the ground, and while his dignity might have been bruised, he was not hurt, KSTP reported.
