YSB's founders say their Boat Show "has juicy tropical fruit and citrus notes that blaze through this fresh and hoppy American IPA." The beer is 7 percent alcohol.

The brewery will host a regatta race competition in a pool in its beer garden as part of the release party. Contestants can bring their own wind-powered toy boat, or use one of the brewery’s.

“Boat Show IPA is our fifth beer to be canned and is the newest addition to our core brand of beers,” Chris Hutson of Yellow Springs Brewery said in a release. “We couldn’t be happier with the end result of this tropical IPA that will be available all year round, we are extremely happy to finally answer the call from our loyal fan base to can an IPA and we think they will be just as happy as we are with Boat Show.”
