4 places to go snow tubing near Dayton

There are few things more fun than catching some air on a hill perfectly coated in snow. 

Whether you're looking to get away for the day or just a few hours, you’re guaranteed to get a workout as well as make memories that you’ll remember for winters to come.

Snow is in the forecast, so there really isn’t a better time to take the plunge. Here are some of the best places in the region for snow tubing:

❄️Snow Tubing at the Avalanche Tubing Park
Located at Mad River Mountain, the Avalanche Tubing Park is Ohio’s largest snow tubing park. The park offers up to 10 lanes stretching over 1,000 feet with two magic carpet conveyor lifts, a snack bar, an outdoor fire pit and a lodge if you need to warm up.

❄️Perfect North Slopes
Located just outside of Ohio is one of the largest tubing areas in the country. Enjoy the 23 lanes extending down a 1,200-foot snowy run. The tubing park is definitely worth the drive for a day of family fun.

❄️Vertical Descent Tubing Park at Snow Trails

There’s a lot that makes Snow Trails stand out in this list. One of the biggest reasons is “Glow Tubing” happening nightly Thursday through Sunday every week.  

Snow Trails is one of the longest tubing lanes in Ohio stretching 1,100 feet in total length. The park is complete with 6 lanes and an outdoor snack bar, restrooms, fire pit and a panoramic view. The glide down the snowy chutes provides fun for the entire family.

❄️Valley’s Edge Snowtubing

Valley’s Edge Snowtubing is a family favorite thanks to its affordability. Although the tubing park may be small, it offers great deals for the family.
