1.) Dublin Pub’s Cheese Fries: With local and state-wide accolades, these had to make the list. The thick-cut wedge fries come with a generous topping of applewood smoked bacon, white wine sauce and mixed cheeses, and are baked to perfection. We suggest trying them beef poutine style!
2.) Watermark’s Crab Agnolotti: This plate features decadent pillows of hand-rolled pasta, stuffed with crab, caramelized onion and house-made ricotta smothered in saffron, tomato, and white wine sauce and topped with freshly-shaved parmesan. Keep in mind, you’ll need a reservation to taste this dish.
3.) Benjamin’s The Burger Master’s Burger Platter: With two hearty southern sides and a juicy, cheesy burger (the above photo shows an order that added a piece of skillet corn bread), this platter will satisfy all your senses including a hearty appetite. Trust us: one look at their Facebook page reviews, and you’ll want to try it all.
4.) Tank’s Bar and Grill’s Nachos Reagann: This overflowing plate of nacho chips smothered in award-winning chili with cheese, tomatoes, onions and jalapeno satisfies a hearty appetite without the need for forks or knives.
5.) Stan the Donut Man’s Maple and Bacon Doughnut: Topped with a sweet maple glaze and chunks of savory bacon, this yeast donut combines two of our favorite things: sugar and fat. Win-win!
