Just over a year ago, R Taco opened its first Ohio location on Brown Street. Since then, it’s become a favorite place to flock to for tacos, margaritas and more.
We tried four different tacos off the menu, including one seasonal item, to experience the street style tacos ourselves. Heads up: we weren’t disappointed.

Tender, slow roasted brisket with BBQ sauce and slaw give this taco a perfect blend of sweet and savory. The slaw balances the fall-apart brisket with a nice crunch.

Made with pork, cilantro, raw onion, avocado, jalapeno ranch and cotija cheese. Even with all of the ingredients, the flavors stand out in their own refreshing (and delicious) way.

Available with crispy or grilled shrimp, this taco is topped with creamy baja sauce, red cabbage and cilantro. The baja sauce has a bit of a kick, which complements the grilled shrimp (my preference) super well.
