Graeter’s wants to beat cancer one scoop at a time

Graeter’s Ice Cream will kick off its Cones For The Cure Campaign next week to help support efforts to find a cure for childhood cancer.

During the annual campaign, running from Sept. 5-15, guests in Graeter’s retail scoop shops will have the opportunity to make a donation directly to The Cure Starts Now. Graeter’s will also offer a coupon booklet with up to $25 in savings for every donation of $5 or more while supplies last.

Graeter’s is offering one of its iconic seasonal flavors, Elena’s Blueberry Pie, to support The Cure Starts Now and its mission to find the cure for cancer by focusing on pediatric brain cancer.

“Every year we ring in the fall with our most anticipated and favorite fundraising initiative with The Cure Starts Now,” said Chip Graeter, fourth generation co-owner of Graeter’s in a release. “We created this special ice cream flavor more than a decade ago and have been committed to the cause ever since. We’re eager to raise even more funds for such an important cause and continue to support The Cure Starts Now.”
