‘Tis the season for spring menus and patio dining
Lily’s Bistro has whipped up some mouthwatering options, and you can see the full menu here.
But first, let’s celebrate their extended brunch hours: they’ll be serving starting at 10 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays (formerly, brunch service started at 11 a.m.). According to them, “that's a whole extra hour for you to enjoy tasty beignets, omelets and Benedicts.” We heartily co-sign.
Now, for the new menu -- here are 6 things we can’t wait to try:
1.) Onion Rings: crispy fried onion rings served with lemon garlic aioli
2.) Smoked Duck Big Salad: chilled smoked duck, local Mediterranean mix, oranges, chow mein, carrots, water chestnuts and miso dressing
3.) Pork Tacos: Beeler Farm brined pork loin, flour tortillas, onions, red peppers, cabbage, lemon-lime crema, spiced black beans and rice
4.) Shrimp and Grits: bacon, green onions, blackened shrimp, Ohio creamy stoneground grits
5.) General Tso’s Cauliflower: fried cauliflower, broccolini, carrot, rice, sweet-and-spicy ginger chili sauce (vegetarian; can be made gluten free/vegan with roasted cauliflower)
6.) Steak Tips: whiskey-honey-pineapple marinade, mushrooms, bell peppers, asparagus, mashed potatoes, pan sauce
