Miamisburg has a new, locally owned and independent pizza shop, and it moved into space vacated nearly 18 months ago by a national pizza chain.
Napoli’s Pizza co-founder Mensur Demnika said he saw a need for a pizza place that also offers other Italian specialties in the Miamisburg area.
The restaurant, which is for carryout and delivery only and has no seating, offers its signature New York-style pizza, but its menu also includes calzones, stromboli, sub sandwiches, garlic rolls and baked pasta dishes such as lasagna, manicotti, ravioli, ziti and spaghetti. Desserts such as tiramisu and cannoli are also available.
Demnika and co-owner Sefedin Alija have family ties to the original owner of Palermo’s and to Troni’s and Troni Brothers, all located in Kettering.
Napoli’s Pizza is open for lunch and dinner six days a week, closed on Mondays. For more information, check out the Napoli’s Pizza Facebook page, and to place an order, call (937) 247-5018.
