New, locally owned Napoli’s pizza shop opens in spot vacated by a national chain

The founders of Napoli’s Pizza in Miamisburg have family ties to other local Italian restaurants

Miamisburg has a new, locally owned and independent pizza shop, and it moved into space vacated nearly 18 months ago by a national pizza chain.

Napoli's Pizza opened Nov. 14, at 718 N. Heincke Road in Miamisburg. A Little Caesars pizza shop abruptly shut down in that space in May 2018 after operating there for six years.

The restaurant, which is for carryout and delivery only and has no seating, offers its signature New York-style pizza, but its menu also includes calzones, stromboli, sub sandwiches, garlic rolls and baked pasta dishes such as lasagna, manicotti, ravioli, ziti and spaghetti. Desserts such as tiramisu and cannoli  are also available.
