The best food is worth a small sacrifice.

Honestly, a 40-minute drive from downtown Dayton is a small price to pay for the experience of the Arcana Hot Brown at The Old Arcana, a sandwich that has garnered legions of fans near and far due to its deliciousness. (The Arcanum, OH-based restaurant is exactly a 37-minute drive from downtown Dayton -- we Googled it.)

Let's break it down. According to The Old Arcana's website, it's an "open-faced sandwich with house roasted turkey, tomato, bacon and smoked Gouda with mornay sauce on Bakehouse sourdough. Topped with an egg your way (we recommend sunny side up)."

Cheesiness. Roastiness (is that even a word?). Sauciness. A runny egg to top it all off. What more could you want? It is one delicious mess.
